Protect your lips from sun. Wash your hands frequently. Apply petroleum jelly on the affected area. Eat well. Get plenty of sleep. Keep out of cold winds.
Apply ice pack to developing cold sores to numb and sooth the area. It will help to inhibit the virus also.
Simply apply the tea bag on blistered skin within several minutes. Repeat after one hour. Or gently press the warm bag over the affected area or blisters for about half an hour.
Cut the aloe stick into chunks. Chill the chunks. Gently rub chilled chunks on the sores.
Soak a cotton ball in cold milk and apply it on sores to relief pain.
