Drink enough water to stay hydrated. Eat balanced diet rich in vegetables and fruits, lean protein, whole wheat and grains, nuts and seeds, and healthy fats (omega-3 fatty acids, for example). Exercise to reduce stress and prevent acne. Be sure to sleep enough.
Acne is a common skin disease characterized by pimples on the face, chest, and back.
Orange peels are mildly acidic in nature and help to cleanse the skin of excess sebum. Dry a few pieces of orange peel and grind them so that you get a coarse powder. Mix this powder with an equal amount of gram flour and then add water to this powder to make it a thin paste. Massage your face with this paste and then leave it on for five minutes before rinsing it off with water.
Soak almonds in water overnight. Dry them and grind them into a powder. Daily add a little milk to some of the powder and use the paste to cleanse the face by rubbing the skin gently with it.
Squeeze one teaspoon of lemon juice into a small bowl and use cotton ball to soak up the juice. If it burns while applying, add water into the bowl to dilute it. Apply it on affected area. Leave it on overnight and rinse it off in the morning. Wash off with water if you feel irritation even with diluted juice.
Prepare a mix of 1 teaspoon each of sandalwood powder, turmeric power and water. You can also little camphor for cooling effect. Mix and make a thick paste and apply on affected areas and leave it for 20 min. Thereafter wash your face.
Take a teaspoon of fresh coriander juice. Then mix it properly with enough turmeric powder and paste it on acne areas every night before going to bed.
Squeeze fresh cucumber juice and apply it on the face with a cotton ball. Make it dry for 20 minutes and wash off. Do this repeatedly to achieve stunning results.
Apply potato paste or juice to the blemishes or all over face and let it dry for 10 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water. The starch and vitamin C in potatoes are responsible for this wonderful effect.
